The Young Artist Concerto Competition (YACC), presented by the Bellflower Symphony Association, is a long-standing program dedicated to nurturing young musical talent and strengthening music education in our community. Founded as part of the Symphony’s ongoing commitment to arts access and youth development, the competition provides aspiring musicians with a meaningful performance opportunity, professional adjudication, and the chance to engage with a full symphony orchestra.
|
Open to young instrumentalists and pianists across multiple age divisions, YACC encourages artistic growth, discipline, and confidence through the study and performance of standard concerto repertoire. Outstanding participants are selected to perform as soloists with the Bellflower Symphony Orchestra, offering a rare and formative experience that bridges student learning and professional performance.
Audience members are invited to attend the competition and related concerts to support these dedicated young artists and celebrate the future of classical music in our region.
